Hepatitis B sero-convert and uprotected sex

Hello ALL,

I am a sero-convert, undetectable or very low DNA, less than 200. Morevoer, as per my doc, I dont need any medications and its been more thanb 10 years am on the same status. Am 27 year old right now. I would like to ask what is the possibility of my wife to get infected from unprotected sex. am going to marriage and would like to clarify this question with all its entirety. your inputs are appreciated. thanks alot

Why don't you let your wife take the vaccine. Although your wife has about 90% chance of not been infected or will not be chronic if the case of infection it will better to get her vaccinated. Maybe you will not like to disclose your status to her but find a way to get her tested and if she doesn't have anti bodies gether to take the vaccine which will protect her.
