Hepatitis B
Hi,
I am diagnosis with Hepatitis - B and doctor adviced no need of medication for now. Could you please advice how to get out of this?

HAV - igG --> Positive
HAV - IgM --> Negative

Anti HCV   --> Negative
HBs Ag --> Positive
Anti - HBs Ag --> 0.0 MIU/ML

HBe (e Antigen) --> Negative
ANTI - HBe (e AntiBody) --> Positive

HBV Quantitative (Viral Load) --> 164 IU/ml

I don't know anything about Hep B, with exception that Asian folks are more prone to getting it.  That's about all I know.The above results don't say much about your liver function and I don't know how long you've been infected.  All of those things factor in.
What I CAN tell you is that my hepatologist has a International Award/Recognition for his work specifically with Hep B.

He is just settling into Stanford Univ, if you need a second opinion.
Dr. Robert Gish.  He has a satellite office for us here in Las Vegas, but if you can not get to either of his locations, I know that he can refer you to another doctor.
I truly believe in second and even 3rd opinions.
