Need opinion from all of you.

Father hep B positive, HBeAG neg, DNA 183IU
Mother HBSAg neg.

do you think kids need to undergo vaccination? any known complications from vaccination?

--You are right.  With mom HBsAg-, chances of baby infection are lower but not impossible.  Still recommend vaccination.

--Risk rate is very low.  Not sure what exact complications there are.

I was thinking on your lines as you believe use of anti virlas in a n effort to cure HBV make other damages/side effects and using your own immune system to fight against the virus. Likewise vaccination in cases where the risk is very low or rare, is it really worth it? I mean you are inserting dead viruses in the body artificially!

--Asolutely, vaccination against HBV is invaluable!  It will wipe out HBV from the face of the earth in a few generations!
