Hi folks...

by britgirl477, Nov 02, 2009 12:55PM
Hi everyone,
It's Britty here. Just calling in to see how you are all doing. I have been very busy writing a uni paper for Christmas as I have now gone back to my course. Hating it too. Just as I have began to get my life back and calm down, I have since found out that I may have a wee moose in my hoose. Have set traps and put poison down. When I get very upset, I just think about how good it is to be healthy and happy again. That soon shuts me up.

To all the fabby regulars, let me know how you are all getting on. You are all, always in my thoughts and I love you folks. I hope you are all healthy and livers are doing well.

Glad that you are back on track with your education.

What what's your conclusion on Christmas?  Personally, I agree with Harpers and Peterson's (2008) conclusion that Christmas is headed for difficult time ahead since Santa Claus is likely at risk for cardiac and metabolic illnesses due to a poor diet of childrens junk food and of course also the lack of excercise over the years.  The consequences of convenient sleigh rides will obviously take its toll.  We'll save this discussion for a later time.

I'm glad that you remain a active member of this forum.  You experience and your willingness to share it will greatly benefit others.  I hope more and more members understand the notion of being help, supported, comforted, and then decides to give back.  It will be this forum's identity.

First of all glad to see that Steve is as mad as ever!!! And huge apologies bberry, but you are right, Britty was indeed your name for me. And always will be!!!

Glad to hear everyone is doing well and keeping healthy, I come into the forum quite often and read the postings. My knowledge of chronic HBV is limited but I am here always Steve, to help anyone experiencing the fear and worry of acute HBV. I do believe that my experience might help someone. Just as all of you helped me.

And yes Santa is a very unhealthy wee dude! Those red cheeks are a sure sign of alcohol abuse over the years. In Scotland we don't leave him milk, but usually a wee whisky. But then being the hardened drinkers we Scots are, it's hardly a surprise.

Nashers, great to hear you are doing well. And I see you are HCV clear??? Is that true? If so then my prayers were answered for you!
