How contagious hep b is?

I know the internet provides some possible ways of transmission of hep b and that the virus is 10 times more infectious than hiv.
But are there any studies about what are the actual odds based on what is the viral load? E.g. Like if someone has millions of hbv dna it's more likely to be spread by saliva than someone that has thousands of hbv dna

Why usually a lower viral load means less chances to infect someone when it all it takes for infection is one viron (correct me if I'm wrong)? Is it because lower viral load means it's less concentrated in the bodily fluids that usually transmit the virus?

Also, is it true that hep b can only be contagious when someone has acute hep b? or when they have e-antigen positive, in other words chronic hep b with e negative are non-contagious?

It just feels like there is a lot of misinformation about the subject and all the warnings about hep b is about people who are extremely contagious in acute stage or high virema e-antigen positive that's where most warnings on ways of spread are made... But I doubt that inactive carriers are contagious on the same level if at all? I tried to google about this but couldn't find anything which is kinda surprising like all hep b cases considered the same as we know it's not. Would be glad if someone could share some studies that actually prove the truth about how hep b is spread.

Thanks and god bless.

Teaches discipline knowing that its merely an urge and recognising it that you have control of it and it doesnt control you.

Plus  I  personally believe there is a spiritual side to it but this forum is not for such purposes. I'll leave that as my final comment on this topic as ive tried my best to answer you initial question

What kind of peace? Knowing that you are doomed with your sex life and no hbv cure in the near horizon... Maybe if you're post your prime there is peace with it, but what about people in their 20's

I never mentioned "easy" FAR FROM IT. thats why I said "passion killer"

Its not even worth the hassle because then obviously your obligated to do the right thing and tell them then there is a risk of them telling more people. I totally understand its no fun and I cant be bothered to deal with a relationship when im so focused on myself sounds selfish i know but in a strange way there is a peaceful element to it.

My X has the antibody  not sure if they had the vaccine when younger or had accute infection but i still used protection anyway (just to be double safe)

you make it sound like it's *that easy* to get the vaccine with every sexual partner... it's 6 months to get... that's a long time in relationship scale... good luck keeping that partner or not scaring them away with what you have...

Reason why I say 1000iu is because normally alot of these sites refer to 'low" viral load so if I remember correctly its below 1000iu is classified as 1log  anyhing below this is classified as low.

Obvius common sense with sexual partners vaccine + condom+ anti spermacide cream makes it feel like its hardly worth the bother. A passion killer lol

thanks, but I meant if someone can provide the per-act risk odds

For example for hiv, the per-act risk of receptive vaginal sex is 0.08% (8 in 10,000 exposures) from CDC website but I read on internet that hepb is 10 times more infectious (if someone has the actual that shows it's 10 times from infectious that could be great) so let's multiple it by 10 so that makes it 80 in 10,000 (8%). But this probability don't take into account factors that might reduce it further like low viral load, use of condom and circumcision, etc so probability is probably less than 8%...

Also, based on what did you say that 1000 iu/ml is less contagious? Why it starts at 1000 to become less contagious and not 2000 for example?

From my understanding

Yes high levels of dna  highly contagious (being over 1000iuml) is contagious through all bodily fluids ie blood semen fecal mass urine  saliva sweat tears etc

But lower levels ie below 1000 iuml and being e antigen negative makes you less infectious

But as long as you have HBSAG + With no surface anti bodies

So blood and sperm/vaginal fluids we are still infectious

But from my understanding sweat tears and urine is only a possibility of contagien  with high levels of dna

Theres like a 1percent chance if you have low dna

So just a note of advice for anyone who has high levels dna please avoid spitting urinating or or crying in other peoples cuts and see a doctor to sort it out. Lol

Hope this helpd
