Would you recommend retesting at 6 months or I should stop worring as far as Hep B is concerned ?
before having a vaccine isn't better to make sure I haven't been exposed to the virus in the past ?
it makes no difference the least vaccine can make is boost hbsab development,
if you want 100% security check hbcab and hbvdna
Thanks for your reply.
You say I never had HBV infection. Isn't possible for me to be in a stage of recovery, where HBsAg is being eliminated of the blood and I still do not have AntiHBs ?
I mean, before having a vaccine isn't better to make sure I haven't been exposed to the virus in the past ?
you are not protected for hbv and never had infection, make vaccine.
you had no hbv transmission but there are as many hepatitis viruses as the whole alphabet although less common than hbv, hcv, hdv, hav, hev, they are all silent killers and don t have synthoms.
some website report synthoms but they are very outdated now we know that hepatitis synthomatic infections are extremely rare and that more than 50% people infected is unaware, so you better take hbv and hav vaccine (it is one vaccine for both viruses)
