I am Trying to understand my status please help

I am frequent blood doner, I donate every 2 month (for a year now ) Due to high RBC (5.8) and Hgb counts (17), during my last blood donation, I recvd a letter stating that a test for HBcAB was positive but all other tests including HBsAG are negative! it was ashock to me, so I have done HBV test and liver panel test, the result are as follows:

HBsAG ===== Negative.
HBsAB ===== Positive (>99)
HBcAB ===== Negative
HBeAG ===== Negative
HBeAB  ===== Positive

ALT and AST both are normal (15 IU/L).

why do I have HbeAB positive !!!!

I am not sue I fully understand what is going on ! am i infected? recoverd? infectious or what is going on ? please some one help me understand my status.

Thanks for your reply, please note that my HBCAB is negative not positive ! my HBsAB is positive and my HBeAB positive as well !

HBCAB mean you either had been infected by the virus and cleared it on your own or you are clear of the virus by a past vaccination.. in either case you are free and immune tot he virus. you wont have it dont worry

as for postive hbea, not sure if this is a matter of concern in your case

stop worrying and enjoy your life.. in a healthy manner ofcourse
