I glad to see a room just for Hep B

I am not sure if what to make of my test results.   Feb 2007,  I engage in oral sex with a person who I later found out is infected with HepB.  I have since been tested.  Before this encounter, I had two vaccine shots but fail to get the third shot.  I had vaccine shots in 1998 and two vaccine shots in 2003.  I was told that I had the antibodies to hep B and that I was protected agaisnt the virus.

However,  I had the following symptoms off and on all year long:  rib pains both my right and left sides, stomach pains every so often,  my butt gets sore, my eyes get very dry, I get tingling and prinking sensations all over my body and it feel like a lump is in my throat.  I have been breaking out with pimples on various parts of my body.  I have been tested for STDs.  The test have come back negative.  Is this hep B related?

I second Zelly's suggestion.

Why guess at this point.  Testing for HepB (and checking for antibody levels) is like any other simple blood test.  And the results are quick, like a couple of days (from my experience anyway).

Good luck.

The only thing that will tell you if you have Hep B is a blood test.  If you have doubts then you should get one.  Best wishes.
