Rarely hepatitis B can take longer to appear but VERY RARELY.  My sincere (and last) advice to you is to accept that you did not get HIV or any other STD and move forward.  I will ave nothing further to say. This ends this thread.  EWH

I told you on April 26 that your 3 month response was conclusive. Thus asking about a 6 month test is rather silly. There is no need for a 6 month test

End of discussion.  EWH

why it takes 6 months to show up.

because it is not like hiv hat finds cells to infect immediately in the blood, hbv needs to reach the liver to start infection and if hbvdna in the infected blood is low it might never reach the liver or take long time

hbv is not like hcv or hiv, there is a vaccine and immune globulin, it is extremely nonsense to test if hbsag gets positive and useless too, you just had to make vaccine and check protective antibody to show up

now make hbv vaccine so that you won t have to worry about it for the rest of your life, even a 6 month negative result is ok to exclude infection
