I have a question
I'm very uneducated when it comes to HEP B.  Can symptoms occur 2 weeks or a couple of months after exposure?

Can your liver and spleen be enlarged with many eye floaters after 3 months?

I got tested for hep b after 5 weeks of my exposure and it was neg.

I've had all the HIV symptoms but have tested negative at 13 weeks and was wondering if HEP could be a possible cause.

Even though my liver and spleen are enlarged and in pain, the ER sends me home because there is no sign of infection in my wbc and my liver test came back normal with blood.

can anyone help me?

has anyone experienced these symptoms?

can flu like symptoms occur 2 weeks after?

thanx

If you know when you were infected with HBV, you may show symptoms 2 weeks to 3 months later.  So your 5 weeks lab may not show anything.  It is important to have a doctor follow you and test you accordingly.

These are typical symptoms:

    * Loss of appetite
    * Nausea and vomiting
    * Weakness and fatigue
    * Abdominal pain, especially around your liver
    * Dark urine
    * Yellowing of your skin and the whites of your eyes (jaundice)
    * Joint pain

To be sure, you need to see your doctor.

Best.

Each person reacts differently to different diseases.

If you have a general practicioner - please talk to him or here and ask for a referral for a doctor who deals with INTERNAL medicine.

This doesn't completely sound like Hep B.

And NOT everything is Hepatitis B.

Some of it could be diet and exercise related... Flu related... Mononucleosis related, Typical Cold related ---- and so on.

So talk to your doc about the test results - because that one that shoes "PENDING" and the extremely low level --- I'd be a bit worried about having a test that wasn't functioning properly.

And I'd probably ASK for another test - just to be sure - since you think that last one might be a bit skewed --- and it's super confusing.

Much luck to ya.

Ignore this part:

That was for another post --- LOL _--- sorry ---- crossing posts while at work - missed that one.  My mistake.

it's cool.

I'm more concerned that it's HIV. Every symptom I've had is identical to it but I'm testing negative for the disease at 3 months.  If it's HEP b, then i'll deal with it.  I just got tested again for all the heps, hiv, herpes, lime disease, a fatigue test???? and many other great things.

I'm getting my results next tues.  I'm nervous.
