I recently diagnosed with cirrhosis

I recently diagnosed with cirrhosis with HBeAG (negative) also have portal hypertension.

But doctor said that my liver functions properly at this time.  

My reports are attached. But seeing my ultrasound report it shows f2, f3 cirrhosis.

Please after seeing reports tell me what is the condition and what I have to do. Doctor advised me ENTECAVIR. Some people advised me Dandelion Herb which detoxify liver and kydney etc. Please tell me can I take such types of HERBS with the above medicine (Entecavir).

Also after seeing the condition in ultrasound my situation is under control or not.

Firstly, cirrhosis is not diagnosed accurately with ultrasound.  You should better take a fibroscan or biopsy for fibrosis and cirrhosis detection. Also f2 or f3 does not mean cirrhosis, they mean moderate(f2) or severe(f3) fibrosis, both are far better cases than cirrhosis. Your quantitive Hbsag,Hbeag, quantitive hbv DNA and liver enzymes(ALT,AST) are required for better advices from the users of this forum.

Liver: reduced in size (9.9 ml in MCL). Irregular margin, moderately coarse (Moderate F2 to F3 fibrosis) parenchyma __________CLD. No focal defect. integrate biliary channels are not dilated. Spectral pattern of hepatic vein shows loss of W pattern.
PORTAL VASCULATURE: Portal vein (13mm Luminal dia) is of increased caliber with hepatopetal flow.

Liver: Liver measures 120 mm in cranio caudal dimension. The contours are irregular. Its tecture appears inhomogeneous. No intra hepatic biliary dlitaion noted. CBD measures 3.6 mm at porta hepatis. PV measures 10.3 mm and is clear. Portal vein as well as hepatic veins are seen tortuous at porta hepatis

its also best you choose organic milk,normal milk has something much worst than fat: antibiotics and steroids

coffee is extremely good and a must like vit d3 is and antiviral is life saving in your case

ther is no constipation with good yogurt home made daily and that has nothing to do with fibrosis anyway

if you want to use milk then it is best to use the milk which has reduced fat.
I always buy the milk which has the the most reduced fat (less then 1%), and even then I try to reduce my milk intakes as much as possible. Basically I use milk nowadays only with coffee, not with anything else. I don't eat cheese anymore as it is full of (saturated) fat nor any other diary products.

As you mention eat fresh fruits and vegetables. I drink miracle juice (mix of Beetroot, apple and carrot One fruit and two vegetables) drink twice a day.

Also I drink juice of dandelion leaves once a day.

As you mentioned that do regular exercise. previously I join Gym and do exercise regulary. But after diagnosis of HBV and liver damage I stop it.

Please tell me should I join GYM again and there is any compulsion how much weight I should carry or can I carry as much weight as I can? Please advise.

One thing more you asked me for drinking coffee. Is coffee is good for liver fibrosis.
But another hand coffee is not good for constipation and constipation is not good for liver fibrosis? so please tell me what is better.

Keep taking entecavir regularly...it shall stop your fibrosis progression and after some time your fibrosis shall start regressing. Entecavir is your main thing now. Do the blood tests regularly to see how entecavir is working along with the fibroscan and regular hcc screenings...but yes it will take some time till you see regression of fibrosis.

Get into regular exercise, coffee drinking, and get onto a very healthy diet (avoid meat fat and saturated fat, avoid cheese, drink only milk with reduced fat; eat lots of fresh fruits and vegetables on daily basis).

the antiviral is of course the main thing which will allow liver repair allthe rest is just a little help to make it work faster and is useless without the antiviral

dont use herbs they are often pollutted with metals and scientifically uselless except few you already find in antioxidants fomulations

entecavir or tenofovir are about the same and regress cirrhosis by 5 years.

vitamins, antioxidants and balanced diet with no processed foods fasten results.fibroscan will start going down after 1 year on antivirals

First you do fibroscan google it from your nearest area

The one test that you are missing is Fibroscan test. Find a clinic which has it and test yourself for it soon. This is the test which will access your fibrosis level (damage level to your liver) and is more accurate then ultrasound.
If fibroscan is 6.5 or higher (which probably will be the case based on your ultrasound) then I would start with entecavir (or tenofovir). If fibroscan is lower you can wait for 2-3 more months and measure your ALT and DNA again and if they don't improve significantly then start with entecavir (or tenofovir).

However, your current results indicate that you will most likely need to start with entecavir (or tenofovir)...but to make sure you are making a right decision you can do the fibroscan test beforehand.

Many thanks for your valuable answer. I have started entecavir from last one month.

After taking entecavir my situation will be balanced or it can be reversed if I its fibrosis (not cirrhosis).

Also I start juice of Beetroot, Apple and Carrot (which is called miracle drink), can I continue not having side effect with entecavir.

Should I also use herbs (like dandelion).

Us means nothing as liver damage and not cirrhosis for sure, have a fibroscan check, forget about herbs, vitamins and antioxidants that repair liver are scientifically proven and used in this forum even to regress an advanced cirrhosis by me

take entecavir if fibroscan shows   fibrosis

If u were You i Will not use herbs maybe after.just take enticavir and some supplement and eat well and try to avoid sugar oil and all foods wich make your lever works more and fatigued.then repeat tests after 3monthes to see the efficacy of treatment  .wht is your DNA level?
