I recieved the HEP b vaccine in 2002

by ease_my_mind_, May 06, 2009 04:23PM
in 2002 before starting college my university required that I get an immunization for HEP B before I was allowed to take classes so i completed the series of tests....I recently had some blood work done and all the results came back non-reactive on all the other pages and then HEP B page says "< 5" under the section that says results...and at the bottom of the page it says "patient does not have immunity to hepatitis B" .....what, exactly, do these two things mean...

so did you ever take the vaccination?

Means you do not have immunity against HBV yet.  Repeat the vaccination series again.
