Iam I chronic Hepatitis B carrier?

Dear Sirs,
I am 34 year-old and in November during routine check up I was diagnosed HBV positive. However, may hope was that it could be a an acute HBV. Now about 8 months later I under went medical tests and my level of ALT has gone up from 24 to 27 and ASLt from 36 to 45. Since the level of AST is about to up limite (43) by 2 units I am begining to be very concerned about my health status. I would like to know what is the best course of action that I should take in order to avoid my health deterioration. Is there an medical tratment tha I should under go?

More information about your Hep B is needed to clarify chronic infection, carrier state or a previous infection. If you arent getting answers from your family doc, get a referal to a gastroenterologist (liver and bowel specialist) who can quickly clarify this with blood work.

ALT and AST do fluctuate without illness.
Did you ever receive Hep. A and Hep. B vaccines ???
If so is your treating Physician aware of this ???
Lab testing will show reaction but from vaccines.
Are you diagnosed in Chronic Hep. B ???
