If the HBV is a non-replicating virus

If the HBV is a non-replicating virus (HBeAg negative and Anti HBe positive) does this mean that i have a higher percentage to clear-up the infection on it's own? considering that i have a low viral load of 17.00 cutoff value is 1.00 and elevated SGPT (meaning my immune system recognizes the infection and try to kill infected liver cell). thanks guys. i'll wait for all your answers...

those tests are not quantitative so nothing can be said about status

this my results below please interpret 4 me
hep. b surface antigen HBsAg - positive
hep. b surface antibody HBsAb - negative
hep. b envelope antigen HBeAg - negative
hep. b envelope antibody HBeAb - positive
hep. b core antibody HBcAb - positive
virus in inactive and non-replicating phase

you are cronic since already positive in 2008 Anti HBe - REACTIVE and now ANTI- HBc Igm -  NONREACTIVE, so it is 100% cronic

check hbvdna pcr and fibroscan, if hbvdna>2000iu/ml and fibroscan>7kpa treatment must be started, also hbsag quantity is usefull because if you have it at 1500iu/ml or lower interferon is the best therapy with high seroconversion rates.

i suggest nitazoxanide off label treatment whaterver teh drug you choose since it is able to lower hbsag more than interferon.tenofovir and entecavir are the other choices but they don t lower hbsag and might even increase it, these are good only if you have advanced liver damage

HBeAg- NONREACTIVE
ANTI HBe - REACTIVE
ANTI- HBc Igm -  NONREACTIVE

Pls help... thanks

and as i recall last 2008 my profile is confusing here are the results:

HbsAg- NONREACTIVE
Anti HBS - NONREACTIVE
Hbeag-NONREACTIVE
Anti HBe - REACTIVE

what is the possible explanation for this. because they said i already got the core?

being acute is very positive don t worry, hbcab Igm reactive is very rare on cronic, normal time to clear hbsag is 6-12 months

how long on hbsag positive as far as youknow?

OMG. is that true it means i'm still on the acute stage... let me check my results and post it for further clarification. maybe by tomorrow.

IGM (Total)- Reactive

this means yo are acute at the moment, if hbsag gets negative by 6-12 months you have cleared hbv

and what does it mean if my Anti HBS decrease from 2.5 to 0.1
that your immune system is weak, i suggest healthy life, good sleep, vit D and selenium from sun/food (not from chemicals) to boost immune system

HbsAg- REACTIVE
Anti HBS - NONREACTIVE
IGM (Total)- Reactive
Hbeag-NONREACTIVE

and what does it mean if my Anti HBS decrease from 2.5 to 0.1

If the HBV is a non-replicating virus (HBeAg negative and Anti HBe positive) does this mean that i have a higher percentage to clear-up the infection on it's own?

no because replication doesn t correlates with number of infected liver cells and immune control, a mix of hbsag and hbvdna quantity can tell if you have immune control and higher chances of serconverting
hbe negative/hbeab positive is made of active and inactive replication and it is normal

considering that i have a low viral load of 17.00 cutoff value is 1.00
is this hbsag test?17 is the reagent in the test so it doesn t correlates exactly with a hbsag quantity, you must make test in iu/ml unit all other units can be useful to understand you are lowering hbsag but cannot tell what quantity.
an example i was hbsag301s/n (about 5000iu/ml) and my sister 335s/n(17000iu/ml) as you see there is no correlation with quantity

elevated SGPT (meaning my immune system recognizes the infection and try to kill infected liver cell), this is a good sign with low hbvdna but again not enough, i had hbe neg, hbvdna neg, alt normal most of my life but dispite this i have cirrhosis at 40yo.
virus mutations, hbsag quantity and hbvdna level are all needed to understand your level of immune control and tell which drug and which chances of seroconverting you have

to be inactive carrier with about 10% chances of seroconversion per year: alt<30, hbvdna<2000iu/ml,hbsag<500iu/ml, this is 100% sensitivity inactive carrier
