Thanks Mrt79.....hope your HBsAg turns negative or better yet, you develop HbsAg antibodies.
Good to see studyforhope after a while.
I was becoming worried and i spoke to Stefano about it.
Please can you comment on my result?
Your opinion is always appreciated.
Sides such as fever can be managed with half dose of Ibuprofen (200mg), one hour before injection. personal experience, not doctors recommendation.
can t find brunetto study, anyway lampertico is reliable too and best not to stop until hbsag almost und with genotype B
i found a lampertico report, dont know genotypes, it showed 52% hbsag clearance in 3 years follow up on those with hbsag less than 10iu/ml, so i guess this is probably all genotypes since different from brunetto, maybe brunetto study was 100% in 10 years follow up
this says clearly better not to stop pegintf and go for extended until hbsag reaches very low levels like less than 10iu/ml and then go for zadaxin plus israel hbv vaccine
it is so good to see you are clearing and we are also seeing a good response to intf here in the community, i think that the most posters who tried pegintf here had very good results, i remember only a few not responding
probably the fact we are sharing much info here about hbsag lvels, hbvdna levels nd genotypes is helping because those with chances on pegintf are going for it and those with no chances are not
hbsag 81iu/ml is a very good level but since genotype is B we need to get lower values.brunetto studies found a level of hbsag like 10 or 20iu/ml, dont remember which of the two, with 100% hbsag clearance in follow u after 48weeks of pegintf
the second values was also close to 100% clearance by follow up
i ll try to see if i can find this old study and if it was meant for genotype d only or for all genotypes
Great to see Mrt79. I just started IFN mono (2nd week). My problem is that the hospital here don't measure HBsAg. I will ask again next week.
I am also HBeAg negative.
Any sides worth mentioning Mrt79?
Congratulations! Great results! God bless..
Great Results Mrt79. You are definitely responding, especially for a HBeAG negative. And this also goes to show your HBSAG does not need to get as low as 1500 iu/ml to respond to Interferon.
Stef will guide you on what to do once ur hbsag completely clears, to get those hbsab levels up.
Congratulations again!!!!
