Is HBsAg with Titer Test different from HBsAg Test?

Hi All. I believe that there's someone who is able to answer my question.

Way back 2007, I was diagnosed Hepa B positive-Chronic. I think that it's through " blood screening" which was part of school requirement.

I'm just curious. Last May 19, 2014, Here's what was written:

"Hepa B screening (HBsAg) rapid: NONREACTIVE (-)"
They advised me to get HEPA B Profile.

Then, Last June 28, the result of HEPA B Profile was:

HBsAg w/ Titer (CMIA) 1546.66 Reactive
Anti HBs 0.00 Non Reactive
HBeAg 1744.21 Reactive

Anti HBC Total 11.38 Reactive
Anti HBc Igm 0.15 Non Reactive
Anti HAV Igm 0.14 Non Reactive
Anti HBe 92.18 Non Reactive

For your advice pls. How come that my result last May 19 is different from June 28? Is it because of the term Titer? Are they supposed to have the same result?

Thank you very much in advance.

those tests are no reliable and cannot tell anything about infection status, they also have a lot of flase negative because they dont detect all hbsag types

retest by architect or elecsys, add hbvdna and hbv genotype

Thanks stef.

Do you think it's just different or same from my May 19 test?

May I know your opinion with regards to the result (May 19 and June 28) which have opposite result?

Is it possible to happen?

hbsag with titer is a fraud and ultra obsolete test from half a century ago, the number is not hbsag but reagent used in the test.

only members from philippines keep posting about this test the rest of the world has architect from 2000 and elecsys from about 2010
