Dear all, will appreciate your information concerning this.
My daughter got hepa B vaccination in her first 6 months after birth (3 doses, the first dose was when she was only 22 days old). After vaccination we did not check whether then she has anti HBs or not.
She is 17 y.o. now and when we checked her anti HBs, unfortunately, it is negative (less than 5). Is it possible that she is a responder but the anti HBs induced by the vaccines fades away after so many years? Her mother is NOT hepa B carrier.
I plan to have her vaccinated again and wonder whether is it safe to repeat hepa B vaccination and should it be 3 doses of vaccination or just 1 dose?
Thanks all.
