I've seen what a mess oak flooring is with water damage- my friend had a fire and they tore the place up puting it out and soaked the flooring so it buckled.  I also cant imagine going through that, especially on Tx.  God Bless you,  Dave

ROHAN,i do not know of hospitals in india, perhaps you can do a search on the web for one...your sister is sick and i pray for her that she will get the needed care...please ask the doctor alot of questions and keep trying to get answers...i pray she can get a kidney transplant...have you or your family members considered donating one of yours to her?...i would ask the doctor to give you and her advice on this...

HARLEY, OH NO...I CAN'T IMAGIN...yikes...when it rains it pours...does'nt it?...you have a great attitude about it...wow...i wish i could be more like you...i'll say a special prayer for your latest trial...yikes....let us know how the clean up and replaceing of things go...hope you can find people to help you...this may be too much work for you on this tx...

my dad had a lightning storm that ruined alot of his electronics and the insurance paid for him to get all new stuff...he was elated...he got to update his equipment...tv,stereo, computer,...there could be a silver lineing to your cloud...hope so!!!

I can't imagine dealing with all that while on tx.  I had a fit when my AC went out.  Too, too much.  Hope all is back to normal soonest and that your homeowners covers it all.

oaky, did you really have to mention water- well not only Harley Dude was bumbed out about the forum being out Sunday the little town of Norco, La. got 12" of rain in 5 hours time and 8 of those inches ended up in Harley Dudes house and about  150 other homes in Norco- it was funny(not really) but all the surronding towns only got 3-4" and Norco got 12"- it was like this big black cloud parked right over us and dumped all it had for 5 hours and left. Well those of you that's been through floods you know how it is- WOW WOW WOW what a mess, my whole house is oak wood flooring- not anymore it's bulked up oak wood flooring- could not get the big screen TV up in time, washer and dryer gone- fridge out- and we have been cleaning and cleaning up since Monday- I went back to work today just so I could get some rest- glad were back- hate to bother you with my problems, I know we all have problems- alot bigger than water in a house- but I just needed to vent a little- had to drive the harley in back of my truck to save it(that isn't an easy thing to do, even with good ramps and at 2:30 am monday morning in the rain- well enough of my problems- I hope all of you'll are still doing ok- sure is nice to have a place to come to with a bunch of friends. It's the Hep Family, and I like the Hep family and this forum- so don't you go away again- See Ya'll and God Bless- Harley Dude (a little wet but still hanging tough).

I cannot answer your question but as a nurse I know your sister is very sick. Have you asked your doctor these questions? Did she contact the hepatitis from dialysis? It is good that she has someone so supportive. If your sister is not a canidate for transplant or is just too sick focus on the quality of her life. Make sure she has adequate pain control. Encourage her to turn and have meticulous skin and mouth care. If her appetite is poor encourage her to eat the foods that she can tolerate. I can offer you my support and prayers. God bless you both.

I am sorry to tell you that there will be no medical doctors answering your questions at this forum, since this is a patient to patient support group.
The medhelp site does have a section where you can get an answer from a dr for a small fee. Even then, no dr can diagnosed and treat patients online.  They will refer you to a physician that can assess you personally. They are limited to general information on the issue,.
