My lab HBV Load PCR etc

Hi All:
I am learning about Hep B  and have read info's about this disease from the various websites.  Had my lab done lately and here's the results:
AFP, NonMaterna      <2.0 ng/mL
HBV Load PCR          963 IU/mL
ALT                             21 U/L

I have checked the various websites on how to read HBV Load PCR, seems they are very technical.  If someone could refer links that explains these in plain English  I'd greatly appreciate.
The lab report notes my HBV Load PCR is High, but the doctor did not give me medication.
I'd appreciate a specialist' comments on the above.
Thanks a lot..

Your results are excellent.

DNA bellow 2000 is good DNA value..when it gets above 2000, and especially above 20.000 then you need to "worry".
Your ALT is also excellent. Alt bellow 40 for males is good (best to have it bellow 30), bellow 30 for females is good (best to have it bellow 19) .

The only other thing you need to do is Fibroscan, have you done it?

Doctors use combination of DNA, ALT, and Fibroscan/Fibrotest to determine whether or not you need treatment. As your DNA and ALT are excellent currently...the doctor has told you to come back in 3-6 months for follow up.
