Need a good food plan for hep b

Hi all,

I am chronic hep b with normal alts and dna until recently where I suffered a flare and my alt went in the 200 range...my liver hurt too.
Will this cause my liver to be scarred and have fibrosis?  Also, what are good foods or supplements beside milk thistle, vit d good to have?

I drink dandelion tea and I heard it is good. I really don't want to go on antiviral treatment b/c of the side effects and I really don't know what kind of medications are out there for hep b people.

Any suggestions for natural therapy?

Just read your previous post.....be careful of apple cider vinegar. You can't really trust what the internet forum said about this miracle product.

Hi,

Yes, dandelion tea are good. Vit D supplement is good for the immune system and in general health.

I think juicing diet are good. Keep BMI at a healthy level. Don't put on too much weight and exercise regularly.

Above all, I think you need to see your doctor and take antivirals such as ETV or TDF. Your viral load numbers must be big due to the high ALT.

Good luck in whatever you do but a doctor appointment is a must. Where do you live?
