New clinical trial Arc-520+ entecavir + pegylated interferon alpha 2a

NCT02577029 it is a new one they just posted it today on the clinical trials.org & specially for those in Australia i guess.

Royal36: it's very strange, almost everyone with hbv has some fibrosis. What is your Fibroscan score ?

that's what i did, my Dr faxed all my current hbv status to the principal investigator and he just replied i can't sit on the trial coz of my mild liver fibrosis then when i asked to my Dr if i can go the medical center and meet them personally my Dr a kind of no! you don't need to go…lol, i really don't know what was the real deal not putting me on trial. i wish i should have contacted the center personally my self.

I think only advanced fibrosis may be the contraindication for some trials, F3/F4.

six months ago i asked about this trial here in my place the stupid principal investigator told me since i have a fibrosis i can't be eligible for the trial & having the fibrosis not listed on their exclusion chriteria.

I don't know how qualification process for a trial looks like. But I guess your doctor need to contact them if you want to participate.

Maybe because they are not recruiting yet. You fill the criteria for this trial ?
