Not infectious means you don't infect others by blood, and semen?

Please help me interpret the result of my laboratory. Thank you.

My HBs Ag (CLIA) is positive (1000.00) /   Unit = S/Co                  Normal range = Negative  1.0
Anti-HBs Ab (CLIA) Negative (1.00)           Unit  = mIU/ml              Normal range  = Negative  10.0
HBe Ag                 Negative (0.28)            Unit  = S/Co                Normal range  = Negative  2.10
HBe Ab                 Positive (0.072)           Unit  = S/Co                 Normal range  = Negative  1.0

My doctor said I am not infectious. Does it mean that my saliva, blood, semon or any body fluid can not infect others or my partner? In what sense I am not infectious? Please explain to me. Thank you!

I may be writing many things and eat up a lot of your time. Sorry! I know you are not a doctor but can I ask a question, please?

As you see my lab results, what do you think should the doctor prescribe me for my medication?

The doctor said I do not need a medication last year, the first time I met him after my lab result came out. I do not know if he is right or not. As the result of my laboratory shows, is he right? Please share with me your opinion and advice. Thank you.

Thank you, for sharing your thoughts on this. Wow, it seems to me that something wonderful research and trials for the cure of Hepa B is going on. But you said, testing was stopped because no money. It is very unfortunate. While the money of the powerful nations are used for wars, they have failed to fund some cause worthy research and trials of these inflicting diseases like hepa B. Why not the WHO - World Health Organization funding this?

Let me tell you about my history a little bit, please allow me. I have many friends who have hepa B and I have not been careful since at times we have been living together sharing things. As a friend, it is not good for relationship as friends when one is so particular with his way of life like cleanliness. I remember, I was also concerned about my health and there was a time that I went to the private laboratories for knowing my helath status. I had my hepa B checked and was happy to know that I was healthy. I was so ignorant that I thought hepa B immunization / vaccines is only for the babies. I did now know that I could have it. I could not blame others but nobody told me that I can protect myself by being vaccinated.

I was going to study in a university and stay in the dorm. Medical check up was compulsory. With all my amazement and shock I have hepa B (my lab result is up). I did not understand so well about the result of my lab but my life has been miserable thinking all the time that I may infect others. I have been so careful that my body fluid should not come close to others, like sweat and saliva. It's been a year now but just recently, I got interested to really know what about my disease and this has brought to this board. I am glad that I could share what I feel with people although I do not see them. How I wish I could give a hug for people people like me who feel the same. Thank you for helping. I salute to you for your passion to make the burden of others light. You are a blessing. God bless you

You are saying, it is already there, does it mean that  the drug that can cure is aleady discovered but it is a matter of choice by the drug makers to use them or not? (Maybe for business purposes - just my guess).

In my quest to understand my disease I have opened this site. Please open and read and give me your personal opinion on this. Thank you.

that can cure hepa B is going to come soon?

it is already there, just a drug makers choice if to use it.i think etv,tdf and probably the combo with ntz too without resistance development will clear hbv on most patients by 10-15years

My doctor said I am not infectious.
crazy ignorant, you are fully infectious until hbsag is positive since you have cronic hbv and by blood even after hbv eradication since it cannot be determined by normal blod tests, the blood from people who cleared hbv is not accepted because residual virus in the blood cannot be determined even after clearance
what this doctors know is from his university studies in the 90s, hbeag negative has no meaning hbv replicated at low rates until hbsag is positive

the main tests are missing, it is not possible to say anything about your condition

see here for more info on hbv and find a liver specialist who knows hbv (not from studies 20 years ago)
http://www.medhelp.org/health_pages/list?cid=153

you can also take "the book of ingnorance on hbv" to him, a researcher made it for doctors in 2008 or 2009 but still updated since most doctors know nothing about hbv
