Osteoporotic changes after fracture tibia.

I had a road accident with compound fracture of tibia 3.5 months back. Now the x-ray of knee joint is showing osteoporosis in articular bones femur and tibia. Doctor said it is due to disuse atrophy and adviced PTH injection which is expensive. The bone fragments have not united well till now and this is likely a case of delayed union. I am taking very healthy diet and calcium citrate +vit d supplements.
Despite all these the non union is making me feel doubtful of tenofovir being the culprit which I am taking from past 2.5 years.
Shall I stop tdf?
Shall I take PTH which is expensive?
I am healthy male 34years.
Kindly suggest the needful, thank you!

You better ask for a second opinion, from another doctor. As you know, we are not doctors... take care and keep us updated on your issue.

Seem like most of the people here are used to copy the opinions of a few expert guys and give answers of same trendy easy questions here. Topics apart from the trend of chronic, acute, cure, DNA etc are hardly of their level to deal with. That is why questions apart from the common trend goes abandoned. Sad to see no one is able to put a healthy logical answer of this question.
