Yeah, they are still here but I guess their mansion is vacated at present. Not suprised. He's defaulting on loans all over town to the tune of several million. Loans that were fraudulently secured. Its not good.
Oh..ok...you should be safe out there
I guess Boots still lives in the Bay area. I knew he used to own the Sharks and was surprised that he would have a home in DET, but then I figured with that kind of $ he could own homes all over the place.
Ha! I don't live in Detroit anymore...but you know, you can take the girl out of Detroit but you can't...well you know the rest.
We also stayed awake for the game and we started it after we put the kids to bed (Tivo). So we were up REALLY late. Then, I only recorded 90 extra minutes so we missed the third OT which we felt better about once we knew the outcome. 34 seconds from the Stanley Cup at home...what a heart breaker.
Boots and his wife, "Soccer Mom Barbie", are the king and queen of this town and I've seen grown adults act like complete worshipful teenagers whenever their names get mentioned. An invitation to one of their parties will make your typical suburban housewife feel like the prettiest girl at the dance...or so I hear.
I did hear something on the news this morning about Boots possibly selling his share of the Predators but I was still half asleep and didn't catch all of it.
This may explain why.
Good luck with your Red Wings tonight. I did stay awake for all 3 OT's Monday. Make sure your smoke detectors have fresh batteries...ha ha
Looks like we have a connection besides Hep B...a part owner of your team ("Boots") is a "neighbor" of mine and is in BIG trouble for investment fraud. My town is beside themselves with schadenfreude right now.
Count me in the category of mainly lurking and reading right now.
I have 4 months left of IFN/Ribavirin tx and then maybe I’ll start getting my brain back to normal (not that it ever was normal) and feel more up to posting. The brain fog has made it difficult at times.
I have noticed more traffic here lately and that is wonderful. The more Q & A going on, the more I learn.
Thanks to everyone that have not only answered questions, but also to those that have asked questions.
Thanks cajim for your contributions.
It's good to see Ann8 posting.
Comforting to see Zelly and Cajim doing their thing.
Hope jack1642 won't be MIA for too long.
Hope Peteshine , Confusedguy , Sylvalant would soon be the new generation of regulars.
For all those lurking and reading:
I hope you would post from time to time to let everybody know how you are doing. This helps to remind you that you need to monitor your disease. It also helps support the community by showing that the majority of B Heppers are doing just fine. If you have an awesome joke, post it...since we all need a good laugh from time to time. If you had an awesome experience with a doctor who really knows his / her HepB stuff, share it so locals could know who that doctor is. And if you are a scientist and found a confirm cure to chronic HepB ;) .....make sure you tell me first....cause we got to go patent it...hahahaha.
Your leadership, zellyf's compassion, and so many others' willingness to share encourage me to learn and do my best to help just like I have been helped so much by you, zellyf and all the others. This is our community and we will make it a heart-warming and help-giving one.
