Please help me interprest confusing results

I have been in shock when I went for my annual physical and the doctor told me I have Hepatitis B. I think I know the cause becuase I have been eating Fo-Ti (Polygonum Multiflorum) recently, which I stopped. So I did another blood test and these are the results:

-Hepa Be Antigne= negative
-Hepatitis B Surface Antigen= Presumptive Reactive
-Hepatitis B Virus DNA= 4.96
-Everything else looks normal except (AST=75 u/l and ALT= 113 u/l )
-Hep B Surf AB IQ= nonreactive

1- What does "Presumptive Reactive" mean please? Does it mean Chronic HepB?

I appreciate your help.

liver can be checked by fibroscan only, blood tests are useless to see damage

you need to test hbcab igm, if positive it is acute, if negative it is chronic

Thanks. I was confused. Why it didn't say "Nonreactive" instead?

From the results above. Can I assume if it's cronic or not?

What does "Presumptive Reactive" mean please?

crap test used or not tested at all, go for hbsag quantitative in iu/ml by architect or elecsys machines
it is of course positive because you have replication

go for fibroscan to know if your liver is damaged as soon as possible then comparing results on liver damage, hbsag quant and hbvdna quant you can choose therapy and if you can get rid of hbsag easily.of course the lower hbsag the easier to clear it, less than 1000iu/ml is immune control with high response to pegintf

hbvdna is not important, it can be made und by antivirals, tenofovir best, but it does not correlate with infection clearance like hbsag does

hbv genotype is also useful
