1. I don't understand why my viral load has decreased but my HBsAG value has increased.

2. I don't understand why my viral load has decreased but my alt level is outside the normal range.

Note: I was treating malaria when I did the current test and may be the drugs I was talking might have increased my alt. Is that possible?

3. Should I see my doctor immediately? I was planning to see him in two weeks time.

Currently I am not on any medication except taking multivitamin, vitamin d3 and milk thistle.

Please someone help me answer the above questions. Thank you.

There is no urgent need to see your doctor. Your very slight elevation in ALT can be due to your anti-malaria medication, it should be self-limiting. Talk to your doctor about it. The slight rise in HBsAg is not significant and can be due to minor fluctiuation or variation in measurement. It is always the long term trend that is important. Your viral load is decreasing, hopefully it will continue.
Just my opinion.

1. The increase in your HBSAG is meaningless. Because it is a qualitative number, not a quantitive number. So you need a test of HBSAF Quantitive to learn the real situation of you.

2. High ALT means that your immune system is fighting with the virus. So, fortunately your ALT is high and it will keep being high until your HBV DNA become negative. It is not even too much high because your HBEAG is negative.

3. You don''t need to see your doctor. However, the test results above are not enough to say about your situation. You need the following test results;

- HBSAG quantitive
- HBSAG qualitative
- ANTI-HBS
- HBEAG
- ANTI-HBE
- HBV-DNA
- ALP
- 25-OH-VITD
- Hemoglobin
- ALT
- AST
- AFP
- URINE
- CREATİNİN
- FIBROSCAN
- ULTRASOUND

4. You can do a lot of thing by yourself, see the links below;
