Pls help me to explain this Hepatitis B profile
I tested positive to Hepatitis B in march 2013, and i went for LFT and HBV profile.
(1) HBV Profile 17/4/13
HBsAg Test:Positive
HBsAb Test:Negative
HBeAg Test:Negative
HBeAb Test:Positive
HBcAb Test:Positive(IgG)

COMMENT: Chronic infection with Low infectivity.

(2)HBV Profile 15/8/13
HBsAg: Reactive
HBsAb: Non-Reactive
HBeAg: Negative
HBeAb: Negative
HBcAb: Negative

I am not satisfy with the explanation  i am receiving here, please help answer the following questions.
What is the meaning of this two test, and what is the HBV status? I did the second test after some treatments.  I would like to know how effective is HEPANTIVIR-SECURININE/LIV52 HB? Your quick response will be appreciated.

You have chronic hepatitis B e antigen negative.

You need HBV DNA test to measure your viral load if any. Any Hep B surface antigen quantitative to measure it levels in order to know your viral status.

Liver biopsy or a FibroScan can tell the amount of tissue damage and the stage of your dusease.

What you have done so far is just antibody tests to hbv proteins. But you need to measure the DNA and surface antigen to tell what the virus is doing.
