Positive HBs Ab with negative HBs Antigen

Positive HBs Ab with negative HBs Antigen

Would like to know the meaning of my lab results which are as follows :
HBs Ab Positive 228095 mIU/ml - HBc Antibodies total Positive  - HBs Antigen Negative - HBe Antigen Negative -
HBV DNA by PCR (Quantative) Undetectable.
SGPT (ALT) 110 U/L  - SGOT (AST) 58 U/L
Is this means that I have got the virus B , and what is the reason for the high enzimes.
Thanks a lot

you do not have hepatits B and are immuned to it by past clearance or vaccination.

your liver function readings are high which points to a problem that isnt , in this cae, hepatitis B.

if you are not a drinker, then there maybe something else is going on with your liver that is leading your AST and ALT to shoot higher.. I'd do further testing if i were you..

but at least you know it isnt hepB. you're free of it and are also immuned for life

good luck
