Posting suggestions

I just want to share a couple of suggestions for this forum.  Feel free to add to this :)

* For new members to this HepB forum:  Introductions are nice.  Tell us who you are, ethnicity, age, and age of infection.  With background information, you'll get better feedback.

* Never hijack a thread with your own questions.  If a poster has a question, ask it by opening a new thread.

* Try to ask all questions on the forum and not via personal messages.  Let's try to built community and establish an information base on the forum so other could learn from it.

* Remember that this is a patient to patient forum.  It's for sharing and learning from a common experience.  Actual treatment decision whould always be discussed with your doctor.

I dunno...the current avatar is a pretty good likeness. ;)

I am of Vietnamese descent and lived there for the first 17 months of my life during which time I was likely infected with HBV.  I was diagnosed 9 years ago during my first pregnancy. My current VL is about 940 copies/ml or about 650 IU/ml.  I am e-antigen negative, e-antibody positive.  I have not had a biopsy yet.  I have not been on treatment. I currently live in the US. I am married and have 3 children...no one else in my family has HBV.
