choose the best one as regards sterilization (ask them if they have chemical autoclave.also staff must be very prepared because themachine is not enough if the tools are not properly clean manually before autoclave (viruses are not killed by autoclave if there is blood or flesh remains)

check that they clean everything, they use and change gloves (they even put something to cover your mouth while operating on specific tooth, a coverage like operations on the body with just a small hole for your tooth)

the most important thing for both dentist or helthcare settings when they reuse machines, even if sterilized, you have to be the first patient of the day because hdv virus is very very infectious and even saliva spills flying in the air can transmit disease

these are precautions dott brunetto team (hbv researchers) told me and that they use in their hospital for hbv infected patients.
of course use dentist as little time as possible and be also carefull about hair dressers, they don t clean kombs and other tools properly

Thanks Stefano.
I would have not visited the dentist knowing all the dangers involved. But my wisdom teeth is really in bad shape and need to be extracted. Also,  as far as possible i avoid taking  medicine for cold / cough / fever etc. and try to see that it goes off naturally.

Just let them know your current status, they will always use precautions, this is stanard for anyone dealing with blood and surgery.  It would be nice to just give them a heads up tho.

I workt as dental assistant here in the US and in germany , and you have to be extra cerfull in the US, make sure every instrument and hendpice is sterilized and have to be oppend in front of you from steril begs if not in begs is not steril. And du not let dentist tuch you if he didnt put new gloves on.I have seeing so meny diferent doctors and they just dont care, some use same burs(the thing tu trimm the toth )whole day long.In germani is much better, while here is onley abbout money they wont to see as many patiente as poseble in a day (30) they dont care about thet we assistents dont have time for proper sterilization, and a lot of dental assistents are not certifid and dont know nothing .you have right to ask if steril and make sure is in begs iven gloves if going to surgery.
