no it needs to check hbsag because to make hbvdna und you need hbsag less than 1000iu/ml most of the time, very few reach hbvdna und while having high hbsag
this way he may consider peg to clear
Stef I think he tested HBSAG in 2013 and it was 14284 iu/ml but in 2014 he did the qualitative instead of of quantitative. His viral load looks good <20 or undetectable. If this is really how it looks then he might need Fibroscan and if no damage he can monitor. But will leave it up to you the expert ;-)
