Replicor drug for HBV

It is disheartening to see the drugs that seems working well are also in slow pace in development trials.
We are aware that getting drugs to the market is long and tedious but the relpicor drug seems to take too long.If any of the members of this community have something to say,do comment please...

It seems the real people who are working for the hbv cure are the HBF based in phili. imo

My suspicion is they are probably waiting for TDF to come off patent so they won't be held to random by Gilead to use it as a combo with NAPS.... Just my thoughts

I think Replicor can also be used as mono-therapy, though it could be more effective in combination with NUCs. But, yes, it is very frustrating for us chronic hbvers, esp. for those with serious liver complications, that the hepB drug development has taken so long time. I wonder whether some curing drug could just pop up one day, something that has not yet been discovered. I personally do not have hope from Gilead, these people are only for profit, I feel.
The scientists have been studying hbv for so long time, and they have aquired a lot of knowledge about it; however they've not managed to find a cure, very disappointing indeed. I personally think all my health issues are related to my chronic hbv, which I suspect I was born with it. How is it possible, a disease that they have found a vaccine decades ago, they could not yet find a cure for it?
Hi! Thank you for sharing your opinion and concerns. I always try to be positive and show that optimism that hopefully one day soon the cure will come, and i will feel better. I am 26 years old with chronic hbv. I am not feeling good, though i am trying to do my best to eat healthy and periodically do detox programs. Feeling without energy and depressed most of the times. I really hope that I will wake up one day and feel better and cured of HBV. I also suspect that all my health probleems issues are caused by HBV.

Below you have a link with a ggod summary of all drug companies in development.

hi, wrote to Replicor, see below what they answered me.
''We appreciate your interest in Replicor and our technology. Our drug is still in development and is expected to take a few years before it is approved for sale. As you may be aware, there are many clinical studies that need to be completed and reviewed by regulatory agencies before a drug can come on the market. We are of course doing everything we can to accelerate the approval process.''

Hi , Replicor is developing a new treatment against viral infections. Clinical trials shown impressing results so far to restore durable control of HBV. I am not part of the team since 10 years. You should contact them directly, they are always excited to discuss their latest foundings. Best regards, Rosemarie
