I will continue with tenforvir,am following my Dr's opinion,am leaving peginterferon for later in my life,if I take all best drugs now that am not active what will I take in the next 20yrs considering no cure is coming anytime soon.Tenofovir remains the best choice at this time

I asked my Dr about adding pegintf, he said he can't put me on that because my hbv is not active it is mostly used for active careers. I prefer staying on tenoforvir. especially with the burden of injecting myself everyday.

if hbsag is really 21iu/ml you d best go for 24-48weeks of pegintf add on, that will clear hbv definitively

My reasons for taking medication is to lower the virus.even DNA undectable will not help me since the virus will still be in d liver cells.my hbv is inactive.instead of spending a fortune for the test i rather use it to stock medication.

Do you know what your DNA was at any point, since you said its not done in your area?  Its only beneficial to go on antivirals if you had active replication.  If you can get that done and you find continued no/low replication and good labs then you may be good off medication.  However, if you find your DNA is active again and labs going up (which the alt/ast have somewhat) then it may be beneficial to go back on.

I know for me I have a few month supply, just so I dont run out.

As for the hbsag, there was a study not long ago about stopping after 4 years created a decent percentage to clear hbsag.  Most others maintained their viral load under 2000 iu/ml and the rest had to go back on medication.  Please try and get DNA tested, this is important.

First reason was lack of supply but i didn't make efforts effort to get, another reason was i was tired of taking medication every single day, also because of the pain i felt around my liver area wanted to stop medication and see if i will feel better.about two weeks after stopping i started milk thirstle 10,000 daily.felt better after stopping
