Should I continue treatment?
I am 30 years old, male, have been diagnosed with hep b about 9 years ago. Recent lab test show as follows:
Hep Be Ag - positive
Hep Be Ab - negative
Hep B Quantitation - 140,000 copies/ml
Liver Panel - normal
Ultrasound - liver-diffusely heterogeneous and coarsened hepatic echotexture with the suggestion of numerous tiny echogenic nodules. Liver size normal, enlarged spleen...
started treatment with viread about 5 days ago and I'm feeling really tired the last two days with persistent pain in the liver area, tender at touch...before treatment, felt very good, running everyday, now I don't feel like running at all:)
Not sure if I should have started treatment to begin with, having normal liver panel and low viral load...opinions welcomed...thank you!

ALT -normal, within the limits...
hbv dna - 140,000 copies/ml ...I found that anything over 100,000 is considered clinically significant, so I guess it's enough to warrant treatment...

You did did one series of labs?
Post your labs numbers / trend, like ALT and HBV DNA.
Hard to know what's happening with one set of labs.
