Slept with the Angel of Death

Currently being punished from the man upstairs for having a 3 month affair on my wife of 25 years with my old high school sweetheart (Facebook mistake) I moved in with her so this does not effect my wifes health in which i had no contact with during affair (Thankfully) Anyhow we met May 1 2016 and on June 20th I had a temp. of 104.7 that dropped me on the job with intense heat outdoors involved, which brought me to the ER. I was diagnosed with Acute Hep B Igm core pos. the other hep b test neg. also HIV through a rapid test, they called this a co-infection. I then went to Barnes Hospital in St. Louis the most respected in our area, their diagnoses confirmed the same as other. After sitting in bed for four days with pistol in mouth with all known Hep. B symptoms in severe levels, thinking i am also co infected with HIV, i called hospital for other blood test results, the HIV was a false positive reading due to antibodies in my blood from the Hep B, .since then HIV has been ruled out through multiple blood test as well as all other STD's. My original symptoms at time of diagnosis was, High Fever, Very Jaundice, Extremely tired and weak, Loss of Appetite, Discomfort in Liver, along with an ALT of 317 Bilirubin was also very high as well as others. 2 weeks later more blood drawn, Alt Jumped to 425, other blood work slightly higher, with new symptoms of being very itchy, severe cold sweats at night and blurry vision, jaundice was looking better and only the bilirubin dropped a fuzz. On the 4th week more blood drawn ALT jumped to 717 bilirubin dropped to 3.2, aspartate aminotranferase 291, alkaline 220. had CT scan, shows small hyperdense lesion .8cm on livers lateral seg. of left lobe and noted fatty change in liver. The spleen is enlarged measuring 17.1 cm.. Today two weeks later more blood work done, I was down in the dumps then the Doctor called with some promising news that ALT dropped to 306, Aspartate 99, Bilirubin down to 1.4, other test not completed yet but he just wanted to share this with me what he received back the same day (he thinks i have peaked). So its been a little over 6 weeks since the original emergency room diagnosis and beginning of the symptoms, Does anyone see hope here to remain in the acute stage and possibly becoming immune? Im 49yo 6 foot tall, healthy build and not ready to check out for another 30 years. I am eating very healthy fruits, vegs and beans for protein (all fresh from the farmer). Sure could use a lift from people whom suffered through this. If nothing else you can read my story, Its a great reminder to use condoms and not to cheat on your partner. Unfortunately if your in this forum it may have been to late.

You are still under the acute stage based on your story, infection took place under 6 months ago. You might still have a chance to develop antibodies that will make you immune to this disease. I suggest to live a healthy lifestyle, it will help.
