Whatever this was a symptom of, seems to have subsided. I believe it was due to the cold air that day. I have had episodes of "dizziness" but I believe this was occurring prior to meds, so I don't think the meds are causing this. I'm on day 5 and don't feel a change... nor do I notice any issues so far.
That is correct... however, it's a double blinded study so I don't know if I have TAF or TDF right now (neither does my doctor). I have a 2 out of 3 chance that it is indeed TAF.
Trial is to see if TAF is as effective as TDF, also to check effects on kidneys. TAF is more targeted so much less drug should have same effect w/ no sides or kidney issues
If your doctor says its ok then I would assume its ok
But here's the link for Viread site side effects etc

Sorry I can't be of much help.
Whats the purpose of the trial may ask please?
Just talked to my doctor and he said it was not the drug causing this symptom and Lactic Acidosis from these drugs does not occur. He said it is a class warning but is not really relevant for these medications. Hmmm
Hoping it's just the darn cold air we are getting. I usually tolerate cold pretty well too!
