no mine just increased except when using imiquimod, platlets are part of immune response and lowers when intf increases but they lower on sevre fibrosis too.
if fibroscan is normal they are correlated to immune response, not tdf
platlets lower because they gather in the liver to attach immune cells and keep them concentrated in the liver instead of spread on the body blood flow, it is one of the first sign of immune activation with intf....of course immune activation does not mean the immune system will win the battle, it can also be a lost war
