To all Tenofovir takers

Does Tenofovir cause acid reflux or indigestion? How common is this?

Sides are always possible.  But I'm fine.  Anxiety?  Placebo effect?

Page 13 of http://www.viread.com/pdf/Viread_FPI.pdf gives me the impression that it is quite unlikely that Tenofovir causes indigestion. In fact people on Tenofovir seem to have digestion issues about as often as those on nothing at all. But, as steven said, it can't be ruled out.

What else did you start eating these days? A lot of chocolates?

No, no chocolates. But it could all just be stress I think. I haven't been sleeping recently and have probably been run down. Acid reflux can be caused by that can't it. It's just that I had seen something about Acid reflux on the website The Body, and wondered if maybe lots of people have suffered from this.

I spoke with my doc today and he said Tenefovir is unlikely to cause any s/effects that's why it's used. But ofcourse a run down body is probably more likely to suffer from acid reflux. Not had any further probs.
