What's the name of tablet
again if you dont have enough vit d it is useless you keep posting start supplementing.if you want it normal fast you can take 50.000iu once and 10.000iu daily
magnesium is also to be taken (dr best brand with magnesium chelate is the best type)
There is little less pain in my arms and legs but there is some pain in my neck and its causing pain when I bend my neck down or turn extreme left or right no pain in looking up will call my doc to find out more any advise till then?
The pain still remains after 2 days should I consult my doc for it? I also have pain in my neck not sure whether it's due to bad position of sleep or medicine
What should be next advice
this sounds more like you got the TAF, since viread tastes extremely bitter and unpleasant, not like chalk. they will look the same on the outside of course.
I do not know, neither does my doctor. I suscpet it's TDF because that is the one that tastes like chalk (the blue pill).
At week 96 (2 year mark) they tell me and my doctor which one they were giving me and then switch me to open label TAF for 48 weeks. I suspect a few times they gave me TAF just to test it out on me though. Call it a hunch.
Hoping the pain would go away in few days , will consult my doc
sorry, it is disoproxil...
Do you know by now if you were receiving the tenofovir disopooxil fumarate ...VIREAD..or the tested new drug tenofovir alafenamide fumarate? this is of obvious interest with regard to any side effects experienced, since the bodywide systemic drug exposure with TAF is over 90% less compared with viread.
Rockla, I had a similar situation. It occurred about 2-3 days into my medication. I called my doctor and asked if it was lactic acidosis becase I was concerned. He assured me that it was just my body getting used to te meds, and the lactic acidosis was very rare and didn't happen often (if at all) with Hep B patients. 2 weeks later, it was gone.
I'll wait for 2 days whether pain remains with fever.
No i'm not taking any vitamin d tablets any natural food i should take to help if its because of medicine.
Also can you suggest what food should i take in general ?
Oats are good ? White portion of eggs ?
There is a rare side effect of lactic acidosis on Viread that you may call and ask your doctor about, or others like stef will have better advice hopefully.
I'm almost done with my first month on Viread and no issues, but if I had what you did I'm thinking I would call the doctor just to be on the safe side. Hope you feel better soon.
A little bit of pain in hand muscle as well
the pain can be due to the infection you had
but i am sure it is severe vit d deficiency, all hbvers are severely deficient and if you are not taking 5000 to 10.000iu of vit d3 daily you are deficient.this makes problems with immune system, often leads to osteoporosis when old and much pain/inflammation
so definitely check your vitd25oh and intact parathormone and start taking vit d3.lately it was suggested to take vit d3 for all those under tdf to prevent bone loss
