Vitamin D3 supplement

Hi all, many in this forum encourage us to take ca. 10000iu vit d3 daily. Should this amount be taken at once or should it be taken in smaller doses through the day? Is there any harm done to the body if we take 10000iu vitd3 at one time?

I have been taking single dose of 10k iu with lunch daily, in the form of soft gel capsule

many in this forum encourage us to take ca....no its not us it is scientific research and results and universal vit d deficiency on all hbv carriers which generates other diseases on top of hbv

the harm is from not taking it or not taking it daily (like weekly or monthly).usless to split same day, avoid taking it at night

I have been taking solgar vitamin D 3 10000iu per day for 6 months, my vitamin D level was 9ng/ml now it is 66ng/ml. Have not experienced any side effects. According to Stef we should reach about 100ng/ml.

Hi SphereAj, thanks for the reply; i also have read vit D3 upto 10000iu daily are the maximum tolerable levels without causing toxicity. But my question was whether this dose has to be taken at once or in smaller doses through the day?
