My Vitamin D3 is 7.85 ng/ml ( which is very low ). As we don't have any expert Dr. here. Kindly suggest me:
- May i take D3 Injections or
- Tablets ?
I have Rock - D 300 dietary supplement which contains Elementry calcium 1200 mg, Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol) 400 IU.
Other Ingredients: Soyabean Oil, Glycerin,Gelatin, Soy Lecithin, Titanium Dioxide Color.
If i go to tablets is it fine ? or injections ?
that s a very dangerous low level with very high mortality risk even in healthy persons and vitamin d injections are the best for this situation, my baseline was 11ng/ml a little better than yours and from my experience of 3 years trying to make it to optimum levels only 10.000-20.000iu daily may work
remember to check calcium levels and d3 every 4 weeks and take d3 in oliv oil, no calcium added, those with calcium are for osteoporosis
i use this brand and take with meals with oliv oil or fish oil
also puritans are ok but they make 5000iu pills, not 50.000iu
