one important thing the best brand is biotech d3 plus because it has cofactors too but this is very expensive because to make 10.000iu daily you need 9pills and to make 5000iu daily 3 pills

there is also liposomal vitamin d3 from maxhealthlabs if you want the best absorption

there is no amount because everyone has vitamin d pathways hijacked by hbv, vitamin d resistance, different vdr and different nagalase levels and so someone might need 50.000iu per day (like me time ago) or 10.000iu daily to make serum levels to 80-100ng/ml or even to reach low normal levels at 40-50ng/ml

this has been posted thousand times, just browse the old vitamin d/nagalase posts

To convert Vitamin D:
From IU to mcg: IU * 0.025 = mcg
For example: 400 IU * 0.025 = 10 mcg
From mcg to IU: mcg / 0.025 =IU

You should take 5000iu - 10000iu / day.

Zinc

Please read this:
http://www.mayoclinic.org/drugs-supplements/zinc/dosing/hrb-20060638

I apply 20 mg / day.
