5 weeks ago had oral sex with an escort using a condom. She licked the shaft of me penis and my scrotum before i put the condom on. I have been feeling sick for the past 2 days with bloatedness of the stomach and some acid reflux. Also had joint pain after 3 weeks of exposure but is much better now. Was wondering can i get Hep A or Hep B via oral sex if i had put the condom on. Also how likely is it that people get infected this way.

I am going to see my PCP for the symptoms but am not comfortable telling him about the exposure i had.

You probably have an STD.  

HIV is much easier to get this way than Hepc but it is possible.  

I think you have a lot of bloodwork and doctors and money to get through before you figure out what is wrong with you.

Hepatitis C is a blood borne illness. Since there was no blood involved you don't have it. It is only passed sexually from male to female in 5% of cases having had unprotected sex for 20 years (same couple). In most married couples only one person has it. I have talked to many of them at the support groups.

I agree with New York Girl. There are so many things that will hapen to us healthwise in our life that we have no control over. Why didint you think about this two weeks before not two weeks after?? This situation could have  been

very UNlikely you got anything from this encounter. i will not down you for what you did like some have here. you did everything right using the condom and an escort instead of a street hooker. even though using an escort has an increase in getting a STD so does just meeting someone in a bar and going home with them, not much of a difference. we all have/had our vices so dont feel to bad. if for whatever reason you use escorts make sure to be extra careful. best of luck to you.
