What is the future?

My Son just underwent a blood test wherein he is detected to have a very HIGH SGOT : 1651 (U/L 5 to 34) and HIGH SGPT : 1481 (U/L 0 TO 40) levels. He has been advised complete bed rest with lots of fluids. Is this a positive sign of having contacted Hepatitis B? What are his chances for recovery and what will be the effect of this ailment on his health in future? Please also help me to understand if Hepatitis B is a contagious disease and should the other members of the family take Hepatitis B vaccinations to safeguard themselves? I would be obliged to be helped with my queries in this regard.  Thanks. ROY.

do get vaccine as soon as possible, hbv is very contagious in the family and check if you have already got it too

it has no synthoms usually, if acute according to the age of infection he can clear it 90%
