How much is this Tenofovir?

You should go for various assays as suggested by stef .............then you can decide what to do............even many patients prefer to keep monitoring only depending upon liver/biomarker/serologic/immunologic/DNA status. Check out Tenofovir 300 mg availability  at your place, many blogs are here in the forum from philipipnes through which you can avail your requirement.

the liver repairs itself, hbv makes no damage on most and about 10-20% can get cirrhosis after a life time

you need to check fibroscan, hbsag quantity in iu/ml, hbeag, ast/alt, hbvdna and then consider if sequential treatment of tenofovir and peginterferon add on might work in your case, this treatmnet takes 3-5years of tenofovir and then another 2 years tenofovir+peginterferon, 50% clear first year and 90% lower hbsag by first year.this is the only cure now and cure rates are about 50% but very few/small trials to confirm this data for now

Liver transplant helps some people. But you know life after a transplant is short. Some people dont even live past surgery.

and also be aware that viral load is not infected cells in the liver, you can have hbvdna undetactable but the infected cells in the liver are infected exactly the same and replication goes on anyway

hbsag quantity in iu/ml is what refelcts infected cells, not hbvdna and antivirals  have no effect on infected cells, their use is suppress immune response and lower immune response so that less infected cells in the liver are killed by immune system, the only result is recover damaged livers but almost no effect on hbv infection
