Worried - Start Tenofovir?

I'm a 34 year old  vietnamese male, recently diagnosed with Hep B.  I think I got it through Perinatal since my brother has it as well. I have over 100,000,000 viral count. My alt 46, ast 31. Fib score is 0.19, Nec score is 0.25.  I'm waiting for genotype results.

I want seroconversion before 40. Based on my stats, I believe I'm going into the  Immune response phase of the infection. My doctor is talking about tenofovir. Should I take it considering mutation, resistance, ineffectiveness of the drug given my early stage? Do I need to take it for life? Doc says a 5 year commitment. Want to do this right and live a long time for my young family.

"How do I become HBeAg- naturally?"

Via your immune system, though people vary.

Even with high viral load, HBeAg+ HBV may not have much liver damage and may stay being monitored till it becomes HBeAg- naturally.

Talk it over with your doctor or get a second opinion.

Best.

I don't feel any noticeable symptoms. I recently encountered shortness of breath when talking I think its sinus/allergies related.

Been switching to a liver friendly healthier diet and exercise. I don't know what what more to do other than take meds. Concerned my necroinflammatory score is slightly elevated.

My  brother is better shape...Longer, no elevations on liver stats at all. Only 250K viral count.

Hep BE Antigen - Positive
Hep Be Antibody - Negative

which means your high viral load is expected.

Any symptoms you can feel?
