Yet another number to the sad statistic HepB

Dear all

As above I have Hep B

My Hep B e Antigen is negative

My Hep B e Anitbody is postive

My viral load is 4.915 IU/ml (3.60 Log ) or 28,605 copies/ml (4.46 Log) which my doctor said did not impress him (probably trying to make me feel better.)

Also unltrasound on liver shows everything is normal and no abnormalities!

He says I am not super ineffective, ie i am still a carrier but not that bad (again an attempt to make me feel better)

Says no medication needed, just limit to 2 beers or 3 glasses of wine weekly! and the usual, get family members tested and  dun share nailclippers with family etc etc

Feeling like crap but want to do simething even if i high chance of living pretty ok , so should i be trying milk thristle or bee propolis extracts to get the count down to zero????

anyone had any luck with the above or some other treatment??? pls share

Thanks for the inputs

Just did a fibroscan earlier, all clear a fibroscan score of 6.0KPa (normal is 4 to 7)

So apparently all clear for now???

Tho would love to get rid of the viros completely, till they come up with a cure

worth trying those alternative treatments?? Milk Thristle?? Propolis extracts??????

just limit to 2 beers or 3 glasses of wine weekly!

alcool, meat, fats must all be avoided

you probably have nothing but until we see how your liver is by fibroscan or biopsy everything we say is just guessing.if it turns out you have no damage to the liver no treatment is necessary

they told you tons of lies, ultrasound cannot detect cirrhosis when still easily treatable and you might well have cirrhosis, only fibroscan can tell you how your liver is or biopsy, check for another doctor a barman or gardner may know more about hbv that the doctor who told you you are ok

hbvdna says nothing about hbv infection and liver damage.....check the forum posts and go find a real liver expert for your safety
