adefovir-hepatitis b resistant to lamivudine-transplant

by paulo a, Apr 28, 2000 12:00AM
I have received a liver transplant 1 year ago due to chronic hep b complications.
My virus is resistant to lamivudine and Hbig treatment is not decreasing my viral count.
for the past 45 days my situation is getting worse after 1 year of normal life and health.
Is ADEFOVIR indicated for me? How can i be included in any trial study or protocol?
I am 43 years old 6feet and 200 pounds.
Could someone help me??
tks
Paulo a
