am i at risk of catching hepatitis B

I have a boyfriend who was an heroin addict for
many years. When i first got with him a week after we had sex i
went straight to doctors for a hepatitis B test when i went back to get my results
they were negaitve but the nurse said it could be to early.
I have not been back since, my boyfriends says he is clean but how can i be so
sure?

Go with your gut and your head on this one.

I was infected as a baby, I had no say in the matter.  You do.  You do not want to choose Hep B.  Make good choices.

You can't be sure.  Get your follow up test.  Ask him to be tested.  Get vaccinated.

To be sure, test your HBsAg and anti-HBs twice, 6 months in between.

well, you said it, you never went back ?

easy to be sure, go back and ask them for a copy of your results..
