biopsy vs fibroscan+fibromax

I have done some fibroscan tests this last year...for some reason the first one came f2 (7,2 kp) than the other 3 or so came all f0, i did the fibromax test to ( blood test ) 2 times which as well came f0 . Doctor is questioning if i should have a biopsy because this last year since i have discovered hepatitis virus my alt was in range of50-80-120 . going up and down ..i also syarted to read online and seems like fibroscan accuracy has a good score on hcv and not yet on hbv , and i quote, "the diagnostic accuracy of non invasive tests was high for cirrhosis, but poor for significant fibrosis . A clinically relevant gain in the likelihood of diagnosis was achieved in a loe proportion of patients . Although the diagnosis of cirrhosis may rely on non-invasive tests, liver biopsy is warranted to diagnose intermediatr stages of fibrosis . ( www.journal-of-hepatology.eu )
What did your doctors said about this guys ?

Hi
Yes it Is true That fibroscan Is used for hcv patients moreand consider it as relevant test. biopsy is still the correct way to know what is happening in liver for both hbv or hcv.
My doc don't trust lot fibroscan and recommend a biopsy at least once 4or 5years or before starting treatment or when there is an activation of virus
